Pond is awesome.

Not as good as BWD or Hobo Rocket... But it's still Pond. :)

Agree with the last review. BWD and Hobo Rocket will appeal more to the casual rock fans. I use those as great "foot in the door" albums. Man It feels like space again sounds like it will be even more so which isnt a bad thing. When you start to kind of understand what Pond is about and are open to more experimental, boundaryless psych rock, this is as good as it gets in my book. Gringolets Drunken Baggage is one of my favorite Pond songs...AMAZING guitar sounds in a song that just defines organized chaos for me. so yea, great listen but wouldnt recommend this as your first Pond album.

Not to be confused with the band from Portland, Oregon that was on Sub Pop in the '90s, Australia's Pond were conceived by two members of Tame Impala's touring group, guitarist Nick Allbrook and drummer Jay Watson, along with Joseph Orion and Jamie Terry. Like Tame Impala, Pond experiment with psychedelia in their fuzzy, modern brand of glam pop.
