Finally a full on return to Aarons post hardcore vocal style. We got some of the heavier points in their last album, but this one sounds like a follow up to Catch for us the Foxes.

I have followed mwY since Catch For Us the Foxes and have yet to find another band that reaches the same lyrical depths. Pale Horses is an intellectual and transformative experience. I recommend this to anyone in the same way as I would share an enlightening introspective thought. This is an experience, not purely entertainment. Aaron Weiss is one of the most inspiring lyricists of our time.
Side note: This album + seeing them live again inspired me to take a leap of faith. I quit my job and am returning to school to pursue my passion. This album was instrumental in helping me envision a future where I had been completely apathetic for years.
Or, ya know, you might just dig it a little.
Different strokes, different folks.

This is mwY at their VERY best. My favorite album in 5 years.
