What Rockers Have Needed For Awhile

Pardon Me is an amazing rock album, the sort of which is far too rare these days. The album opens very strongly with Pardon Me (5/5) revealing great vocals and instrumentals. Young & Free (4.5/5) shows great energy and upbeat guitar riffs, simply a fun song. Young Love (4/5) opens with great blues-styled guitar and bass and then kicks into a great slow rock flow. Gypsy Woman (5/5) brings back the energy in a Queen-like fashion. A southern rock type sound introduces itself in Devil's Basement (4/5). Paint Me A Picture (3.5/5) starts with a soft Jack Johnson feel but slowly rises into a decent soft rock song. As the name hints, Bright Energy (4/5) has an upbeat guitar riff to open and turns into a slightly slower version of Young & Free but keeps the great guitar flowing. She Wears A Smile (4/5) is a great love rock song with pretty violin and piano to finish off the Maroon 5 feel. Ladybird (2/5) seems an attempt at a pretty love song but falls short as a bunch of mediocre high chorus humming. Hot Sake (4/5) brings the energy back once again in a Hives-like upbeat drum-guitar combo. Where The Wind Blows (4/5) ends well with some Bob Dylan styled guitar and lyrics but with a good modern vibe.

GOOD Rock N Roll

The Dallas area has known about them for a while but this cd is a great introduction to the rest of the world for the northern lights. The mixture of rock and blues makes this cd an easy listen from front to back. Check them out!!!

Don

I've watched these guys a million times over the years and couldn't be more impressed. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
