Like Being in a French Cafe

Christine Albert is an Austin music treasure, and she actually outdoes herself on this third collection of French songs. A lot of artists dabble in French stlyings, but one thing that sets Albert apart is the fabulous acoustic arrangements and instrumentation that place you right inside a French cafe while you're listening. There is no need to pick and choose among these songs. Just get the whole album, there is nothing you would want to miss. This music could be considered therapy for anyone who needs to chill from a stressful day. Christine has been around Austin for many years, and fortunately for us, her records keep getting better with time. You will hear lyrics sung in both French and English, depending on the song. Her French is as natural as if she lived there all her life. Sit back, relax, and just OD on this stuff!
