"PUT FOGELBERG IN THE R&R HALL OF FAME!

Regardless, I have heard this recording and it adds to his 'Legacy'......Dan was pure talent. AND worked with some of the Greats of Rock, Blues and Folk! We can ALL point out who's in the Hall, and there are MANY that don't belong AS MUCH as Daniel Grayling Fogelberg!

The Real Dan!

This is Fogelberg at his undeniable best! No overproduced mush here....just DF, his guitars, and piano! Dan always seemed to shine alot brighter, when he performed solo acoustic, IMO. Only a select few of "Pop-Rock Stars" would even dare, much less pull off, a solo acoustic show of this magnitude! Dan made a career of tours of this type of show. This recording furthermore proves his unexplainable and underrated place, in a short list of the greatest singer/songwriter/musicians! Radio versions of his mushy songs didn't help, IMO.
I was sometimes embarrased to call myself a die-hard male Fogelberg Fan amongst my music and guitar buddies. I will proudly show this CD off!
Talent......pure talent

This is why we miss him

I don't normally miss artists after the pass on but there is nobody I'd rather go see in concert today than Dan and this helps to fill the void. This is a reminder of his gift for song writing, his effortless guitar picking, and that voice when it was in its prime. If you are a DF fan, you can't help but love this and allow it to take you back to those great times 20-30 years ago when you first started listening to his music. There is no equal!
