Your kids will eat it

Stigma Strain is quickly becoming on of my favorite new bands... I bought this album based on their live show and how hard they play night in-night out. The recording does NOT disappoint! Anyone reading this who's on the fence about paying $8 for this album needs to listen to "Liberate" just once!

a building storm

You can feel the storm clouds of this band's inevitable fame building up to an F5 of national discovery. This release is groove and melodic metal at its finest! I hear In Flames, Trivium, Machine Head, and All That Remains influences, and it's not a loose comparison, they deserve that company. They are Nashville, Tennessee's best metal band as of this post, but I have no doubt that a year from now, they'll be tearing Germany apart with Trivium, destroying France with Machine Head, or owning the US metal scene with All That Remains. Who knows? Anything at the top is possible! Brandon's bass/frontman performance shames Slayer and he owns the stage at shows. He has the sing/scream combo ability to front the awesome sound of today's American Metal and does so with an obvious ease that just comes naturally. Nate kills the drums on every track with a punishing style like Glen McClain of Machine Head and loses his d@mn mind at shows! And Chris and Glen are the next Trivium or In Flames-like guitar duo. Buy this d@mn album while it's cheap, son! They'll be a national act in no time!
