Customer Reviews

For those that like Blessid from their first two albums and not just the one CD they went completely mainstream with (the one with Hey Leo) you'll like this album. It was always the Indie aspect about Blessid that I loved, and now with this album they truely are Indie. Also, it's an ablum that doesn't quite fit into a genre, which makes it that much better, for when you need a rest and need to hear something different that you can still appreciate. The fact that I'm giving this 5-stars says it all (check my i-mixes to see what I mean by that)

Also Amazing!

Perception is an amazing CD. Blessid Union of Souls is more than just a pop band. With there newest- "Indie"- effort, they let their talents shine brightly once again. Despite a lineup change, the core of Blessid remains the same based around the songwriting and vocal work of Elliot Sloan. They do follow, for the most part, they're electric trend that was evident in "Walking Off The Buzz". However, there is significant accoustic work. Buy this entire CD. It is 16 songs and everyone of those songs is very listenable and enjoyable.

Great album

As a fan of BUOS since the beginning, I have to say that I think that this is their best album to date. "I have just begun to live" is easily a standout song on this album. "Better side of me" is a brutally honest look at someone trying to improve their life. But every song on here is great.

Their 1995 debut album, Home, was a huge success, producing a Top Ten hit in the single "I Believe." Blessid Union of Souls were founded in Cincinnati by vocalist/songwriter Eliot Sloan and guitarist/songwriter Jeff Pence in 1990;...
