Another satisfying WC Album

I'm not so good at writing reviews, but here is my best attempt as per Wil's request for our opinions. Although I'm not sure this will be as "delicious" as you hoped, Wil. Yes, you. Understandably, you are more than likely going to read each and every one of these (at least the first 100!). And I hope they all make you feel wonderful. Your music is incredible. You are incredible. I'll spare you and everyone else the store, but your music (and Aiden's) has had countless positive impacts on my life. Thank you. I cannot say it enough, and I do not intend to stop.

Moving on to the review….

William's EP provides yet another dark, encapsulating musical journey for it's listeners. Fans of Hate Culture over Noir will likely enjoy the pacing of this album, while fans of Noir over Hate Culture will enjoy the dark, synthesized beats. There is nothing about this release that stands out musically from the prior two; it is just as good, in both similar ways and different ones. It is nothing short of art, and I'm glad to have it in my music library.

I believe that this EP represents a filling in of the blanks. It is a little of everything that may have been desired by Hate Culture/Noir listeners. The little extra of ____, or a little more of ____. It completes the prior releases. It is that little extra we've all craved for. A mass of fans begging for one more track. Just one more to hold us over. Just one more to keep us satisfied until the next album. Except, we got 6 more tracks!

The final song on the album had me smiling the entire time. I don't know why. Perhaps it was some of the lyrics. Perhaps it was the steady piano track running in the background. Perhaps there was no reason. It just did.

I cannot wait for the next full-length album.

Buy this EP.

Well worth the purchase.
Everyone, do yourself a favor and download this.

New Kind Of Faith indeed.

i pre-ordered this from his website long ago, and the wait had just barely been held over with the new Aiden album.
i just received this EP but a minute ago, and i think this EP is outstanding. never once has William Control let me down
with a video, or even a release. if your a true fan i suggest you go to his website and get the Physical edition whil you still can, it
comes with one bonus track called "1963". every track on this EP is good, not an upset at all. so i STRONGLY suggest a download.

Years Active: '00s, '10s

William Control is the darkwave solo venture of Seattle musician William Francis, who helmed the popular emo-goth band Aiden from their 2003 formation to their breakup in 2016. Initially launched as a conceptual side project in 2008, Francis soon began to use the William Control moniker on a full-time basis, further developing his enigmatic horror punk persona over a series of albums that pulled from electronic, punk, goth, and industrial. Beginning with his conceptual 2008 debut, Hate Culture, Control...
