kevin spacey

Very interesting that the Kevin Spacey acapella is a complete song with lyrics, while the album version is just a one minute interlude.

Felt 3 -Instrumentals / acapellas

I like this more than the actual album. Aesop Rock is a talented musician and has come into his own as a producer. It is easy to see he was influenced by Blockhead and El-p but strives to do HIS thing and be original. This piece is an interesting look into the creative process behind Hip Hop instead of focusing on the finished product only. I listen to it softly when I study and bump it when I am getting it on or doing laundry.

instrumentals ONLY please

aesop rock beats are some of the best songs ever conceived in the hiphop/rap/underwround/whatever world.
always consistent and interesting.
as for the lyrics and vocals on this record... HAS to be some of my least favorable work by slug. would expect better from him.
5 stars for aesop rock's instrumentals, 2 stars for the same songs with the vocals.
