Ska Party time at the cowboy bar!
Lots of fun.
Makes me drive faster
I heard this band play in S.F.'s Mission District a coupla weeks ago and loved their music. My sister had invited me to hear the group, and I mostly went to spend time with her. But once GVG started playing, I was hooked. Afterward, I went up to the sax player, a woman named Connie, and told her how much I enjoyed the music, particularly one song she ID'd as "Fast Taxi." She said if I liked that song, I oughta buy their "Dance Pressure" CD. I did, and I play it all the time now. Connie said something funny about the CD. She said it would make me drive faster. I own a 1991 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo that's been modified to 550 horsepower. I don't need to drive any faster than I already am, know what I mean? But, damn, nearly all of the songs on that CD make me do just that. Probably raises my blood pressure, too. So, thanks Connie for making me a greater danger to society and to my health! I say that with a smile. This album's damn good and I look forward to catching GVG in concert again soon.
