Anyone, please share your afterthought. Do these pieces break out of the monotone? Do you hear more instruments lending sound to a later crescendo, or anything, or what I'm getting in these samples is the crux? Something to look forward to would accent well the background after so many minutes of repetitious numbness. Thanks for your feedback.

Mind numbing

And pointless. Yet Glass manages to bilk uneducated concert goers out of their hard earned cash each year. Not sure how he lives with himself. -Bz

The original recordings at last

I have at least one recording each of both of these works, including the Paul Zukofsky recording of Strung Out. But this has the original performances of both and they are incredible. I particularly like How Now in its original version for Farfisa Organ. The only other performance I have is for ensemble, and this just blows that out of the water.
