Photograph

This is a wonderful new album- with a new sound for Erin and her group. Very enjoyable!

under the radar, but one of 2010's top 10 releases

on PHOTOGRAPH, erin bode finds her true voice.

the tunes are poppier and more uptempo than most of what she's done so far. her band is right there at her side, too, and together they sound ready to conquer the world.

she/they were certainly capable of occasional brilliance in the jazz/ballad/remake paradigm...but PHOTOGRAPH showcases a group finally running on all cylinders. ONE OF 2010'S BEST RELEASES. for fans of regina spektor, paul simon, shawn colvin, tift merritt, shelby lynne.

way to go, erin.

Every new Bode album

improves on the last, and since Little Garden was a masterpiece, Photograph is beyond superlatives.
