This album is very wierd but very good. I think the band must have fun creating music

Brilliant Concept Album! Chumbawamba at their best!

I guess most masterpieces are misunderstood... Yes, the songs are all short, but they blend seamlessly into one complete work, and it's brilliant. Most of the tracks can be combined in groups of two or three to form more "complete" songs, which have movements and variations. For instance: Celebration Florida, Moses With a Gun and The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Jerry Springer are essentially all one song. Snippets of previous songs come back in different forms between later songs, later songs are similarly hinted at earlier in the album, and the whole work holds together like an energetic, ADHD symphony, with strong melodies, clever instrumentation, and amusing soundbytes. And, as you can always expect from Chumbawamba, the lyrics are a witty, biting commentary on capitalism, racism, classism, and other political and social corruptions. It is definitely *not* an album which is best heard one track at a time. Make sure your Gapless Playback is working and buy the whole album. If you have the attention span for it (and actually, it never gives you time to get bored with a song before bringing in something new), you will not be disappointed!

The single would prove to the band's commercial peak, even though Chumbawamba continued issuing politically aware albums (many of them featuring...
