Album Review

Following their 2014 emo-revivalist effort Home, Like Noplace Is There, Massachusetts-based the Hotelier's third album, entitled Goodness, builds upon the praise drawn for their previous effort. Recorded at the well-respected Machines with Magnets studios in Rhode Island, Goodness includes the singles "Goodness, Pt. 1" and "Soft Animal," both released earlier in the year.

Compelling and overwhelming

It's hard to hear such a compelling album and kudos to this band for coming up with a spectacular material.Piano player song is a killer and the song already became the most listening song on my phone.

Massachusetts' the Hotelier began life at the high school in their hometown of Dudley. Lead singer Christian Holden met Chris Hoffman, Zack Shaw, and Sam Frederick in 2009, and the band -- who were originally called the Hotel Year but would later change it to the Hotelier to become easier to find online and avoid confusion with actual hotels in the area -- released their debut EP the same year.
