Let The Wagon Roll

The Gypsy fad of 1961 was really kicked off by this gem of an album . After Chacksfield and orchestra released this album the Gypsy craze was everywhere. The painted Gypsy wagon was the top toy of 1961.
As gypsy memorabilia flooded store shelves the man who started it all had moved on. Chacksfield as always was on to the next phase of his career and had little interest in the Gypsy Sunami he had unleashed. Critic Jerry Sherman said most artists would have exploited a thing like that but Chacksfield had class just plain unadulterated class . Nuff Said !!!!
