One Of My Favorite Blues CD's Ever Must Have

I'll make this quick. This is hands down one of my favorite cds. Really worth it, this holds up, I've had this one for many years and I still listen to it. One of JV's greatest recordings.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds "Girls Gone Wild"

The early essence of the T-Birds and is as faulous as there name. raw when they want it to be raw, polished when they wanted that, these early tracks are timeless. Kim wilson's vocals Jimmie Vaughans guitar heard here on this album for the first time. I was hooked from the start. Although the members moved on and the soudns expanded to rock and other genres this still is what the T-Birds fall back on in concert. Great shows. I have seen them live since 1980 and never miss a chance to catch them. Can only hope that sometime Jimmy Vaughan will step back in for a few tracks like this.

'bout time!
