EDITORS’ NOTES

With Poetry in Motion, SOJA inject a little musical positivity into a troubled world—to "let a little light out," as they sing on opener "Moving Stones," which combines roots-reggae rhythms with classic-rock shredding. On "Tried My Best," they offer up a sort of motivational dub, with singer Jacob Hemphill giving himself a tough-luck pep talk over speaker-panning horns. "I Found You," meanwhile, is a tender love song with a sweet harmonica melody, closing the album on a bright, optimistic note.
