Good chillwave. "Evening Glow" and "Real Life" are the best on this EP, but the artist has a freebie on his bandcamp page, called "Wind at my back" which is his best song IMHO.

Best-in-genre. A hallmark, gotta-have album of the chillwave movement.

I've listened to a lot of chillwave in the past year, and a good deal of it---slight pun intended---fade easily into the background. Brothertiger has a unique style of instrumentation and vocals which sets it apart from its contemporaries. A great chillwave-pop-crossover that could possibly be the next greatest thing since Neon Indian's "Psychic Chasms". I hope to see a full length LP come soon.

Fitting with the chillwave trend, Brothertiger's music has neon '80s keyboard tones and the woozy fidelity of an old VHS tape. Toledo native John Jagos started making upbeat electro as Monoteque in 2006 and, as he became influenced by the ambient moodscapes of Brian Eno and M83, he started recording under the moniker Brothertiger in his freshman dorm at Ohio University in 2009.
