EDITORS’ NOTES

Heavy and imposing as a glacier, Seether ratchet up their ambitions on Poison the Parish. The band taps into vast resources of pain, confusion, and adrenaline to create a powerful show of strength. “Count Me Out” begins with a pretty guitar melody that cascades into a molten fireball. You can feel a sea change on “I’ll Survive” and the restorative “Let Me Heal” and “Sell My Soul.” Anyone going through hard times should tag those three tracks; they're instant shots of inspiration, showing even the darkest storm clouds eventually blow over.

Seether at their best!

Over time bands change, Seether could always deliver but this album is a gift. I think they produced it on their own this time around. The emotion that is conveyed and the talent in the delivery of every sound is impeccable. I love the frank and bluntness getting straight to the point in some of the songs lyrics. Over all this is one of my all time SEETHER albums and it has woke me up to what great music is and should be in all the surge of garbage thats out there now. I hope they keep going strong . Buy the album you won't regret it.

Forgettable

It’s not terrible, just straight O K. Disclaimer, K&E straight up killed, bands get better with age, this to me is the album that we can chalk up as their weakest.
