Reseña de álbum

A collaboration between Biosphere's Geir Jennsen and Bobby Bird of Higher Intelligence Agency, commissioned by the Norwegian government for live performance at the 1995 Polar Music Festival. Suitably frosty melodies and glacial textures provide the framework for compositions utilizing the natural environment of the Arctic Circle for inspiration and source material (snow falling, ice cracking and splitting, the clang of cable car mountain lifts, etc.), to often remarkable effect. Sparse beats occasionally bubble up, but the focus is definitely on the icy edge of Arctic life.

Antarctic Ambience

Originally, I was looking for antother artist on iTunes, but I happen to discover this album accidently.A rarified sound! Sedates your soul and activates your senses were my first thoughts. Even though the album depicts the Arctic, the album reminds me of when I was stationed in Antarctica. "Coundown to Darkness" and "Meltwater" are my favorites, but the entire album is worth the purchase. I'm a Country music fan, but this album reminds me of the rarified environment of Antarctica. It's different and it's depicts my experience on the frozen continent, so now it's in my music collection for me to enjoy.

I'm a blues fan but when i heard this album i was reminded of the pace at which our government moves to cause effective change.

He released a number of Bleep singles through the late '90s on Crammed subsidiary SSR, as well as the full-length The North Pole by Submarine, issued in 1990 and an acknowledged precursor of what became...
