iTunes Review

A veteran Memphis rapper who's been doing his thing since the late '90s, Project Pat is the brother of Juicy J and is best known for his work on many Three Six Mafia projects and his signature 2001 smash single "Chickenhead." He's released seven solo albums (most notably Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin' and Crook by da Book: The Fed Story). For Belly on Full 2, he joins forces with fellow Memphian Nasty Mane for a collection of Southern-fried club anthems extolling the virtues of various intoxicants, their power moves with the ladies, and assassinating all haters. If you're looking for conceptual lyricism or positive messages you'll be disappointed, but when it comes to over-the-top Dirty South debauchery, few do it better than Pat. Peep the high-time anthems "Kush Ups," "Smoke on This Purple," "She Rollin'," and "Pop This Pill."

Yet Project Pat (born Patrick Houston, brother to Three 6 Mafia founder Juicy J) made his mark on much of America with a hit song of his own a year later, "Chickenhead." The song -- which features production by Juicy...
