Not the Greg Brown that you might think...

I was excited when iTunes alerted my to this album, but I ended up feeling like the butt of an April Fool's joke. This is NOT the Greg Brown that you probably know and love. Whether or not you're into the music probably depends on your tastes.

Hard Rock and Blues

I am familiar with and enjoy the music from both 'Greg Browns', and as the other reviewers found out by accident, they are definitely not one and the same.

Im not sure how itunes should distinguish the difference between two people with the same name, though this album is a good if you enjoy hard rock and blues. Greg Brown, the folk artist is great for other reasons that are well reviewed under his own section.

For this album...'Still Alive' is my favorite, with 'Lost and Found', 'Cry', and 'I'll Wait Here' as the next best.

Great friggin cd!

This cd blew me away. A great hard rock record. Fantastic lyrics, great musicianship and the songs grab hold and won't let go. Try driving under 75MPH while listening to "Postal". I'm very happy that I found this artist.
