excellent album, must have for your collection (digital and vinyl - if you can find). 19:14 minutes of Povo live - mind blowing stuff.

Gets better with each listen

Although this is a bit too "fusion" for my tastes, there is some incredible music here. Of particular interest are the Herbie Hancock composition "Hornets" and the nineteen minute opus "Povo". While I admit that his wasn't my favorite jazz recording, it has grown on me with each listen.


Povo is the funkiest thing ever. Everything else is just icing.
