Editors’ Notes

On Beyond the Pale, Jim Gaffigan might say that he loves food, but he proves his point by riffing for almost an hour on culinary delights like Cinnabon and Hot Pockets. Eventually, Gaffigan himself becomes the joke; the comedian mocks his own habits by doing the voices of a fake pair of prudes criticizing him from the front row. This album could have been nominated for either a GRAMMY® or a James Beard Award.

Customer Reviews

Very Good - But..

This album really is hilarious. It definatley is a must buy -- that is unless you have some of Jim Gaffigan's other albums. For some reason some of the same bits and same jokes are on the other albums as well. The Hot Pockets bit is absolutely hilarious, but its on multiple CD's, which can be kind of disappointing if you're listening to it hoping for more hilarity. But, if you don't have any Jim Gaffigan albums, I definately reccomend buying this one. The hot pockets, christmas trees, easter eggs, and other stuff is killer.

Gaffigan at the top of his game!

I'm sure people wonder why I'm laughing out loud as I drive.... It's all because of Gaffigan. If you like Seinfeld and Brian Regan...then you'll love this as well!

WOW WOW WOW!

I am a huge Gaffigan Fan, and this is without a doubt his best album! Its got new versions of his best bits, Jim has a great way of presenting his material... If you like this, and you will, try Daniel Tosh, hes like a combination of Jim Gaffigan and Dane Cook, hes F***ing awesome!

After his first appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, Letterman himself asked Gaffigan to develop a show for Letterman's production company, World Wide Pants.
