Nothing New

Luke has been performing and recording obsessively for almost two decades now. It is not at all unlikely that he would have catapulted himself into stardom in his early twenties had he settled for the addictive pop melodies that come so easily to him, and that lull his audiences into a sort of love-struck, dopey adoration. But for those of us who have followed his career, we're now catching on that he was right from the onset: it's a mission and vision all his own. And that mission isn't as much about height as it is about breadth. (But if he chose to prove that we were also right, he could bang out an album of 12 breathtaking singles that would dig their heels into the American pop music lexicon as fast as any album ever did. Great Unknown Album

This is an up-and-coming artist who's been around for a short time now. I saw him open up for Guster in 2006, and I bought this album immediately. Incorporating styles from artists like Jack Johnson, he captures a sort of cinematic, stage-showy sound that is very unique. Absolutely check this out.

Amazing album

One of my favorite artists. His upcoming album, Snowbeast, is going to be amazing.. keep an ear out for it.
