Beating Breathing Music

I first heard this group at the robert Osborne Classic Film Festival in Athens, georgia. They played live for the showing of the silent film by Buster Keaton, Steamboat Bill Jr. It was simply, fantastic. They deliver a certain, hard-to-put-your-finger-on sentiment which brings the music to life, and makes it breath all on its own.

Named after an ambiguous figure in Thomas Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow, Kenosha Kid was formed by creative jazz guitarist, composer, and bandleader Dan Nettles in his hometown of Athens, Georgia in 2004.
