Customer Reviews

The music makes this movie memorable.

I grew up watching "Caveman" many, many times... my parents LOVED this movie so it was always on, thanks to a Betamax copy. The movie is pretty forgettable in places, but the music makes the best parts stand out. The main theme and its reprise (end title) are catchy and fun. There is a lot of borrowing here - Schifrin makes a lot of comic musical references to other movies and well-known pieces of music in this soundtrack. My only complaint is that the "invented music" performed by the actors mid-movie is not included here... but it's still very good, listenable incidental music.
