Editors’ Notes

We expect Eddie Izzard to always be the funniest guy in the room, but on Dress to Kill the British comedian proves that he’s also the smartest—and the only one with the guts to wear a peacock-print shirt. His tone is as flippant as his wardrobe. Here, he both critiques colonialism and sings the praises of Scooby Doo. It’s a mish-mash of high and low culture, all delivered with rapid-fire candor that’ll have your head spinning.

Vital Parts Removed

I've loved Eddie Izzard since I almost choked to death from laughter watching the video for "Dress To Kill". I was very happy to find it available on iTunes and immediately bought it. Unfortunately, I feel some of the best material has been edited out. Where is "do you have a flag?" Where is "cake or death?" Where is the "Englebert Humperding" brain storming session? Some of his best support lines such as "China, the UN security council of my virginity" have been left out. While he does mention China the punch line is edited out. Oh well, such is life. The comedy is still brilliant and highly enjoyable.

Not the REAL version

This is not the best version. Every track is different from the video version. Punchiness, certain words, and his inflection is off. May seem unimportant but us way funnier in the original.

yay eddie!

The London Sunday Times has called him "the greatest British standup comedian of his generation", and the entity of Eddie Izzard is worthy of such praise.
