Album Review

Imagine a poppy Ramones outfit with a lot more aggression and the occasional female backing vocals — that sums up the Teen Idols (not to be confused with the early Washington D.C. hardcore band). It's nothing new to come out of the punk rock woodwork, but what makes this a lot more entertaining is that it doesn't have a cutesy edge to it, unlike the million other pop-punk bands that are out there today. So the Teen Idols get credit for playing their own sound without conforming too much into the world of bland pop-punk.
