EPIC

You gotta love Donavon. This album is EPIC!!!

Finally here

This guy just keeps getting better with every release

Good but not his Best

I really like Donovans style, its acoustic but it has some funk to it to differentiate him from his buddy Jack Johnson. However, from listening to the excerpts above, it sounds like he went more pop this time around, letting his funk go, which I would say is a bad decision. For a second on one of the songs I could almost hear John Mayer, which in this case I would also say is a bad progression in his career.

I can only hope that the excerpts are all sections of the songs that are poppy, and the stuff I didnt hear has that funk!
