Looking for the Original?

Just a note for those who are complaining of this "hip-hopped-up" version -- You can get the original Taco version (and the entire album) here on iTunes by searching for TACO AFTER EIGHT. I don't mind these mixes, but they don't compare to the original!

Thanks to Dexter Midnight for pointing out how to find the original Taco song. iTunes doesn't show it if you type "Puttin' on the Ritz", I wonder why? This reworked version lacks the urgency of the 80s take - too languid.

Taco scored his one and only pop hit in 1982 with a faithful rendition of the Irving Berlin chestnut "Puttin' on the Ritz."
