If you enjoyed Shiny Happy Jihad: Buy!!!

If you enjoyed Shiny Happy Jihad, you should buy this new album. It is just as funny, especially the Q&A's. For those that have not heard Joe Rogans stand up before: It does contain strong adult language, so now your warned lol.

Hilariass

I saw Joe Rogan's "Talking Monkeys in Space" special on Comedy Central and thought it was great and was waiting for this to come out. The CD is even funnier than the special, it has more material and is uncensored, and has 14 extra tracks of question and answers with the audience which all had my laughing like a maniac. I dig Joe's comedy because it is a mix of social commentary, philosophy, and sick/dark humor and it all resonates as the truth - he isn't just some guy just making stuff up for a laugh, he says things that make you think. This is a great comedy album, well worth the money if you ask me.

Havin' A Difficult Time

I like Joe Rogan's comedy. He's very funny. He's a great commentator. He's passionate about stuff. That's all great. And trust me when I say that I find it exhausting to have to keep commenting about this same thing on my FB page or Live Journal or wherever I encounter it...but MAN, the F-word..."fa**ot" or "f*g".
I know it makes some straight guys feel good about their perceived separate and superior masculinity to denegrate some men who are different from them. And when you get a room of them together beating the basher drums...they must feel intoxicated in the same way hate rallies have always been fun for the ones who hate.
Oddly, I don't think Joe actually IS homophobic! But this pandering for laughs is cheap and hurtful in real ways.
If you wouldn't use the N-word in the same way then DON'T use the F-words in that way either! Or if you do at LEAST give props to the gays somewhere in your show and say you're NOT a gay-bashing homphobe....and mean it.
