Nina at Her best

I recomend this album for anybody that likes blues, funk & soul. Nina is one of those artist that isn't gonna sell out to a big label ( hell she has her own).. Check Nina out whenever possible on CD or in person you won't be let down plus her personality on stage is delightful.

Trust me. You don't want miss this one!

I heard Nina for the first time a month ago singing the songs from this album at her concert in San Francisco. I've been thanking my friend for the recommendation ever since because Nina is one of the most gifted songwriters and vocal talents I've ever heard. She writes great hooks and can do AMAZING things with her voice to express the nuances in every lyric and phrase of music. In her live performance, Nina has this brilliant smile like there is no other place in the world she would rather be than right here, right now, sharing her intimate stories with you. The same energy in her concert shines through on this recording, even though she needs no studio equipment to enhance her naturally phenomenal voice full off all the character required to sing folk, soul, blues, cabaret, funk and more with integrity to each genre.

nina rocks!!!!!!!

i love nina! she has a talented voice and she really brings on the blues and jazzy that we need instead of the metal crap. who ever doesn't like nina is obviously tone deaf and has no sense of a good musician! rock on nina!!!!!!

Another disappointment came from UCLA when the academic institution declined to admit her to its music program. Through it all, she had the...
