A Smooth Jazz Pioneer

This is a definite must have album for those who apprieciate smooth jazz and its roots. Dave Grusin is an artist who over the years provided wonderful music with his albums, collaborations, and his label. The only drawback to this timeless album is that there are only eight songs. If you like smooth jazz piano, you will love Dave Grusin. He is definitely one of the 'all time great' jazz pianists.

Great 80's Fusion Album

This is just album cover's one segment of Dave Grusin's vastly different career. The sounds are extremely dated, but its a solid contemporary jazz/ fusion album. If you like Jeff Lorber or the Yellowjackets, or Steps Ahead, you'll like this album.

Very Nice.

First of all, let me tell you that I am not much of a jazz-listener. I first heard Dave Grusin's song "Either Way" sampled on the song "Everyday Struggles" by the Notorious BIG and loved it so I decided to check it out. This album just makes you feel good. If you appreciate the laid-back sound, this album is for you.
