iTunes Review

This Bob Dylan career overview doesn’t skimp on the hits—from his protestant folky beginnings (“The Times They Are A-Changin’”) to his late-’60s country crooning (“Lay Lady Lay”) to his most action-packed (“Hurricane,” the punchy ode to boxer Rubin Carter). Also included are a handful of his greatest moments that aren’t usually recognized, like the optimistically melancholic “Not Dark Yet,” the refined and airy “Jokerman,” and the gently rolling lament “Mississippi.” The set finishes on 2006’s fittingly tender “When the Deal Goes Down.”

There may never be a better singer songwriter than Bob

Bob Dylan *is* Rock and Roll. He's the one singer/songwriter most often mentioned in history textbooks recording 20th century culture. This album is a good survey and a good sample of must-have Dylan songs.

Great yet again

Same home better version but it again is awesome

As a vocalist, he broke down the notion that a singer must have a conventionally good voice in order to perform, thereby redefining the vocalist's role in popular music. As a musician, he sparked several genres of pop music, including electrified folk-rock and country-rock....
