True blues from a master...

I was lucky enough to have seen the Steady Rollin' man live many times here in Cleveland before his death. To be quite honest, I don't know if Junior really cared all that much about being famous, at the end of the day, he played blues because he loved playing the blues. He seemed to get better with age. Lockwood was also the last living blues musician link to his 'step-father' Robert Johnson. Junior credited one or two songs to Johnson that Johnson never got a chance to record. I understood from Robert that he taught B.B. King a lot when B.B. was starting out. This album takes you on a special musical journey. Enjoy.
