iTunes Review

Ever since hip-hop hit the scene, critics, parents, and politicians have loudly complained about its negative lyrics and perceived glorification of violence, misogyny, and drug use. Though rap has always had this element, there are countless well-meaning, forward-minded artists who rarely get the same type of coverage or airplay. And Christian rappers are all but invisible outside of their devoted fanbases, despite some excellent music and prolific discographies. This 16-track compilation comes to us from the heads at, a longstanding online magazine that focuses on the righteous side of beats and rhymes. With proceeds going to fund education in Africa, this promotes a good cause along with good music. It's loaded with contributing acts (veterans as well as new jacks), and while not every track is a banger, most are rock solid. Highlights come from Braille ("Lift Up"), Yaves the Street Pastor and Ron Riley ("Beautiful Struggle"), Young Joshua ("Fight On"), and Grits ("Beautiful Thing").

Customer Reviews

You get new music and get to help kids learn!

1. King Kulture - easily the best song on the album, and the beat is filthy!
2. Nothing For Us- Not a fan of the chorus but Eshon MURDERS the verses and his flow might be unmatched in CHH.
3. New Shalom (Dubstep Remix) - Not the best dub step out there but the drop is sick.
HM: Get Wise- Has a great message.

The rest of the songs are good just don't really stand out to me. Non the less all proceeds are going to help build a school in Africa so thats reason enough to buy the whole album!

Pleasant Surprise

I have to be honest, when I first heard that Rapzilla was producing a compilation album, I didn't think it would be good at all. Then they released the King Kulture single and I got pumped. After hearing Sho Baraka's song, I realized I had to at least give the album a shot. I downloaded the app to listen to the album early, and it was amazing! This is some high-quality music! And it's going to a great cause! Thanks to Rapzilla and to all of the artists who donated their time. We appreciate it.

King Kulture

Rapzilla has put together the sickest album that may have the best record all year long "King Kulture". I hope this album continues to gain recognition and helps spread the message of the gospel like a wild fire! Presents … King Kulture, King Kulture
