Easily one of the best of the last decade

This may well be one of the most under appreciated albums of this decade, whatever we're calling it (the 'oughts?). Spend some time with the whole album start to finish. Appreciate the songwriting: "Buy me a shiny new machine that runs on lies and gasoline/ And all those batteries we stole from smoke alarms," as he sings on the title song. One of the happiest and greatest songs of my life. listen to it, buy it.

Consisting of Red Fisher drummer Jason Tait and bassist John Sutton, the Weakerthans took their name from...
