Customer Reviews

I miss the curly haired Taylor...

I love Taylor, she's always been my romodel! I've always looked up to her because of her modesty and how I can relate to her songs! I like this new album, but I miss her old country songs like "enchanted", "teardrops on my guitar", "fearless" and pretty much all of her old songs! They are amazing! And I remember waiting so long to hear this new album but now it seems like she turned into someone she's not... Unless this is where she wanted to go then I'm very happy for her! But I know a lot of people that honestly miss the old Taylor and I hope she will at least write a little more songs like her old, not just one like the review said...

I have been waiting MONTHS for this album, and I can't believe that it's finally here! One thing that I've noticed throughout these songs is that Taylor puts more of a variety in here than in previous albums. There's a little bit for everyone in here, from the slow wonderstruck quality that "Begin Again" implies to the electronic vibe that the synths in "22" give us. Personally, I like some of the slower songs because it sounds like the typical Taylor Swift music that we've all loved since she first appeared on the music scene. Frankly, the entire album is still ah-mazing, though!!

Best cd ever

This is by far the best cd Taylor swift has ever made! I hope she does a tour along with this cd! I will definitely go!!

Taylor Swift is that rarest of pop phenomena: a superstar who managed to completely cross over from country to the mainstream. Other singers performed similar moves -- notably, Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson both became enduring mainstream icons based on their '70s work -- but Swift shed her country roots like they were a second skin; it was a necessary molting to reveal she was perhaps the sharpest, savviest populist singer/songwriter of her generation, one who could harness the Zeitgeist and turn...
