catchy songs, amazing guitar work!

a really wonderful album. favorites: "coaster" & "spouse visits the world bank". erin mckeown's vocals on "there goes the road" make the song unforgettable. the winterpills also sing on "there goes the road" and are a wonderful addition to the already great vocals from spouse. amazing guitar work, and you can't help but sing along after the first listen. a must have!! get the whole CD.... it's great!

In mind

Spouse's best album to date. Songs to get hooked by, to sing to no one, to everyone, to your children. Catchy!

Pop Gems Galore

I'm a late comer to the Spouse bandwagon, but this the album has some really good pop gems intermixed with some no so catchy expeimental stuff. Overall, my favorites are 'Tonight' which has a pulsating beat right from the get go coupled with great agonizing lyrics. 'Long Live the Bay State' is another pop gem in my book which has the potential to rival the Standells' “Dirty Water" as Boston's unofficial theme song. Simply great! I'm giving Relocation Tactics 4 STARS instead of 5 only because there are a couple of songs on the album that leave me scratching my head wondering what the hell they were thinking. However, this is their best album so far and worth a serious listen.
