Album Review

This fifth full-length studio album from the New Jersey post-hardcore band, the follow-up to 2010's The Fire, is their first album not to be on Vagrant, and their first without founding member and principal songwriter Garrett Zablocki, who left the band in 2011 to pursue a solo career. Renacer (Spanish for "To Be Reborn"), produced by Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones, Will Haven), is a powerful statement of intent on which Senses Fail tear up their rulebook, taking influence from the whole spectrum of heavy music genres to make their biggest, hardest, rawest album to date. ~ John D. Like..... MI AMOR!!! blew my mind. I cant wait till march... HURRY UP AND ADD PREVIEWS ITUNES!!.... I need my senses fail. They are literally The best band EVER. Beats rise against, 3 days grace, skillet, and any other band you can think of!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!! XD

Silverstein just lost the crown with this one. Post hardcore at its ABSOLUTE finest. Must buy!!

This is definitely different. But it is a step in the right direction. Well written. Well executed. 5 stars.

Formed in 2002 in Bergen County, Senses Fail quickly issued a debut EP and began gigging regularly while maintaining a thriving Internet presence. Drive-Thru Records took...
