They did it again. The remake of "Angel" beautiful.

blueswork by randy crawford

randy crawford is my favorite singer ever and one of the few folk whose work seems to evolve as she grows older, her lifelong collaboration with joe sample has produced some powerful music and this one is no exception - its not only jazzier than early works, its bluesier, randy crawford and the blues were made for each other - this one im not buying individual cuts, this one im getting the whole thing

No Regrets

This album is AWESOME!!! Joe and Randi just keep on keeping on. Every song is a gem. I never thought anyone could compare with Mavis Staples on "Respect Yourself", but Randi nailed it. Not trying to imitate, but doing it her way, which is always wonderful. I will spend many happy hours with absolutely "no regrets" about purchasing this album. Thank you Randi & Joe. I can't wait 'til the next one.
