Effective soundtrack for an underrated movie

I liked the movie quite a lot -- too bad it's not getting the kind of publicity it deserves. Samuel L. Jackson was excellent in it. The soundtrack serves the film very well without overpowering the film, and I was touched by many moments. Very well done.

"Zulu Segue" (track #14) is called "Segue", and the artist is Shinjuku Zulu; the song appears on the 14-track album "Shinjuku Zulu". The Montreal Gazette writes of that album: "FOUR STARS. Breaks, house, reggae, exotic vocals...a CD worth repeated listens"; & the Globe & Mail says: "FOUR STARS. Sheer brilliance Segue, a chain of syncopated gasps and a soaring African chorus changes a brooding bass line into the root of something earthy, sunny and intimate." Other albums by Shinjuku Zulu: "Various Chimeras", "Kiss the Honey, Honey", and recording as K.I.A., "Sonorous Susurrus", "Adieu Shinjuku Zulu", and "DXLR8 - Downtempo Best Of K.I.A. & Shinjuku Zulu".

Nice Elevator Music...

This isn't an inspiring score. Is it too hard to get Thomas Newman to write the music? Don't buy.
