iTunes Review

Green Day get back to basics. After more than a decade of rock operas and stunt releases, the Bay Area trio sound liberated by their 12th LP’s lack of conceit. This is simple yet ferocious pop-punk, from a band that can deliver it—as they do with flame-throwing single “Bang Bang,” and the bouncy delirium of “Youngblood,” wherein frontman Billie Joe Armstrong rhymes “supernova” with “cherry cola.”

Customer Reviews

All 3 early releases are FIRE.

This is going to be an amazing album. So happy to see them back at it with a new sound, and it's a good sound too. Very excited for the rest to release.

Wait...

What. Green Day. New Album. In 2016. WTAF IS HAPPENING. Okay why'd no one tell me about this. I neeeeeeeeeeed it now. First Blink- 182 with "California". Then My Chemical Romance with "The Black Parade/Living With Ghosts". Then Green Day with "Revolution Radio". Everything I know about my bands being dead isn't truth.

Amazing

Could never get tired of Green Day-- this album proves that they're around to stay and I am in love with it

Dookie sold over ten million copies, paving the way for a string of multi-platinum...
