Customer Reviews

Dan Auerbach + Dr. John= Whoa.

I have been keeping this song on repeat for a couple of days. So so soooo soulful. Definitely feel the "Black Keys" touch Auerbach adds, but brilliant dirge washes reminiscent of Budos Band and Dap Kings. Love the artwork for the single/record too. Very vintage/fresh. Can't wait for the album to drop!

Black keys esque? the Doctor always rules

I love Dr. John and I like the Black Keys, but the good doctor has been around way before the Black keys ever were. Both bring a lot to music, but it is great to have the doctor back in action!

Nice sound

I love the comparisons to other artists by some of the reviewers here. Dr. John was playing with legends when the parents of artists like the Budos Band, or Sharon Jones and the Dap KIngs were just children. He was winning Grammy's when they were in middle school, and in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when most of them were just getting started.

He's also quite accomplished and enjoyable when sticking to purely traditional forms of blues and R&B. On record,...
