The Best Banjo Album Ever Made

Tom Adams raised the 3 finger style of banjo picking developed by Earl Scruggs to the highest level ever achieved. The cleaness of his picking has never been equaled, even by Scruggs himself. This instrumental album displays his art in both a number of traditional bluegrass tunes as well as several of his own compositions. The variety and nuances of styles and techniques presented make this album a must have for anyone who loves the banjo. If I could own only one bluegrass banjo album, this would be the one. -- Roy_Rogers

We're not worthy.

This picker is the "cleanest" banjo picker ever. I can do nothing but smile while listening to this disc. Earl Scruggs is the master, but Tom Adams is coming up fast. An excellent addition to your collection and a great listen. You can also go to his site and get the tablature to play along. Betcha can't keep up!

Tom Adams

Tom Adams is one of the best banjo players out there. This album is good, but his first album 'Adams County Banjo' is the absolute best banjo music i have ever heard. Every song on it is awesome. A must have for anyone who likes bluegrass.

Adams' first solo album, Right Hand Man, was released on Rounder Records in 1990. The time following...
