Whats With The Hataz???

Why Do People Love To Hate On Mariah. People are complaining that Mariah's Voice is not "as Powerful" as it used to be, but at the same time Britney (Who has NO Vocal Talent) has the Number 1 album right now. Mariah is not the actual singer of this song it is the character she plays in her new flick TENNESSEE. So she is tryin somethin lighter with her voice, Its the emotion she portrays with the slight strain in her voice that makes the song so moving. Don't Hate! Congratulate! Go Mariah For Being the official best selling female artist in the world!!!

This is a beautiful ballad written by Mariah and Willie Nelson for her new movie. Her character is a victim of abuse and the words are so inspiring and deep. It's sung from her heart and the lyrics were probably influenced somewhat by her own life experiences as well.

"Old-School Mariah" Ballad

"Right to Dream" is Mariah's new ballad from the movie "Tennessee." She co-wrote it with country star Willie Nelson. The song is very mellow--it doesn't lead to a climatic key-changing last verse showing off the fury of her vocal skills. It's very simple--mostly Mariah's vocals and the guitar--and is not over-produced. Nevertheless, the song works. Mariah is still amazing in it, and the lyrics really speak to the character Mariah plays in the movie. Hopefully, people will embrace this country-influenced track so that it'll do better in the charts than her current (and very underrated) single, "I Stay in Love."

The best-selling female performer of the 1990s and one of the most popular artists through the 2010s, Mariah Carey rose to superstardom on the strength of her stunning five-octave voice. An elastic talent who moved easily from glossy ballads to hip-hop-inspired dance-pop, she earned frequent comparison to rivals Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, but did them both one better by co-writing almost all her material. Like all artists with lengthy periods in the mainstream spotlight, Carey experienced creative...
