She contains multiples

This is by far one of the best releases of the year. Mutter's playing of the standard literature is suspect at best, but her playing of modern works are destened to become her legacy. The works presented here are written by the masters of our time. The only one notible absense is Boulez, but one can hope that a subsequent record is in the works. Gilbert surprises by rising to the challenge for such a young, inexperienced conductor and the NYP plays as well as it can after the Maazel reign. This is a stellar release. A no brainer to get. -Bz
