A Delight!

Classic Rick Price music revisited!..I loved how he put on a new taste on one of his hits "Heaven Knows"..Amazing! I was expecting "Nothing Can Stop Us Now" (my personal fav) would be one of the cuts in this collection but nevertheless, 'twas a great album to listen to over & over again..

Honest music, beautiful voice, generous spirit

I heard Rick perform most of these cuts live when he openned for Tommy Emmanuel in Elizabethtown, KY. Just him and his guitar. I thought then that his vocals are so strong he hardly needs a band, but this recording adds just the right balance of support and texture. Like Tommy's other Ausie friend, Anthony Snape, Rick Price lets us right into his heart without becoming too sweet or sentimental. He gives generously without taking himself too seriously, and draws the listener into the music. I can't help but wonder what this kind of honesty costs an artist. Many of these songs are autobiographical. As you listen you feel like you are being treated as a friend--not a fan (or, as with some singer/songwriters, God help us, a therapist). He doesn't try to be profound or catchy. Honest music, beautiful voice, generous spirit. I hope there is more where this came from.

Rick Price - Revisited

Rick Price is a great artist! Love this album. Who knew there were so many talented artists out there? I saw him live and picked up this CD at his show. I've listened to it non-stop ever since.
