Hilary Kole's rendition of RIVER
Just wonderful! So happy to have HILARY KOLE bring us her haunting and heartfelt rendition of Joni Mitchell's RIVER just in time for the Holidays ...
Totally Classy Vocalist
Ron from Baltimore
This is a wonderful example of just about every song Ms Kole sings. Hilary sings with such clarity, beauty and ease, that I see her sing somewhere annually. In front of an orchestra or in a NYC club with a 4-5 piece band - it matters not. Buy her music; take your significant other to see her in person. You'll both be happy you did.
About Hilary Kole
The contemporary jazz and cabaret singer Hilary Kole pretty much started at the top. The youngest artist ever to appear at the Rainbow Room, Kole also enjoyed a long run at the Oak Room at the Algonquin and a featured spot in Jonathan Schwartz's "American Songbook Series" at Lincoln Center in 2007. She also produced and performed in two Off-Broadway tribute shows, "Our Sinatra" and "Singing Astaire." As might be guessed from this history, Kole is the most traditionally minded of new singers, but with an intelligent, tart style and a knowing discernment in her choice of material. Her 2009 debut, HAUNTED HEART, was produced by mentor John Pizzarelli and features songs by Bob Dorough, Alec Wilder, and Oscar Brown, Jr., among others.
